A sixteen-rib automatic umbrella with an open loop for a handle, so it hangs off a bag strap, a hook or a wrist instead of being put down somewhere and forgotten.

Sixteen ribs

Twice the rib count of a standard folder, paired in reinforced double rows. The canopy stays taut and domed in wind where a light eight-rib umbrella flexes at the seams, and the difference is obvious the first gusty day it gets used.

One-touch open and close

Press once to open, press again to close — useful when the other hand is holding a phone, a coffee or a car door. The loop handle then hooks straight onto a bag while it dries.
